Aloha Family and Friends!
Last week we had so much during our math times! On Wednesday we did a really fun activity for math using Marshmallow Mateys! Each student received a scoop of the cereal. Then everyone had to sort out their marshmallows and see how many of each we had.
And when we were finished we got to each the rest of the cereal for snack!
We also learned about the number 8! To practice counting to eight we drew pictures of spiders and counted the legs.
All week we learned how tools help us explore. During out reading times we discovered different kinds of tools. To wrap up the week all the kids drew pictures of their favorite tools.
For Social Studies on Friday we learned all about Mexico. One of the teachers from our school brought in a beaded turtle from Mexico for us to see. Thanks Ms. Poggensee!
We also colored Mexico on our maps!
This week we are reviewing the letters we have been learning. The week we get back from a Fall Break we will be learning about the letter T. Students will be able to bring in items that begin with T when we return from break.
