Aloha Family and Friends!
We did it! In just over a month's time we raised $165 dollars in recyclables! That means ALL the kids in our class get to go to Dolphin Quest for FREE! Permission slips for the trip will be going home next week.
This week we finished up our lessons on crosswalk safety. Each student made a flip book that included an introduction, 4 steps to cross the street, and a closing.
This quarter we are studying space for science. The kids broke in to 6 groups and each group had a book on the Solar System. The kids took turns reading the book to each other in the group.
Finally, we made posters in our class for one of the third grade classes. We are their pep squad for the SBAC testing! The kids had a great time making these encouraging posters!
