Aloha P2 'Ohana! As always we had a fun-filled week, we started off the week celebrating Girls' Day. On Monday, the girls were so excited to be able to be at the front of the line all day and even have lunch in the class with Mrs. Noyes' first grade girls. All of the students had fun designing their Japanese Girls Day doll. Here's a sample of some of our amazing artist:

On Tuesday, we got to do a fun opinion writing activity. Ms. Jennings brought in brochures that she got in Waikoloa of all the different types of activities that people can do on the Big Island. We got to look at the brochures and then write about which activity we would most like to do and why. Here are some samples of our writings:

"I want to go in the scuba because it want to go in the sea and see dolphins."

"I like to go to Nature Adventures at the snow volcano because you can see the snow volcano."

"I would go on the Camelot because you get to catch the big fish."

"I want to go in everything because it's so cool!"

"I want to go on the zip line because you can swing and go on a scary stairs and you can see the tree."

"I would like to do the zip line because I want to fall in the water and do tricks."

On Tuesday, our class also got awarded the "Good Behavior" award from Ms. Mazzie. Good job everyone!

As a reminder, Spirit Card monies were due March 7th. If you haven't turned in your money or remaining spirit cards, please do so as soon as possible.

Finally, Congratulations to Fiora! She won C.A.R.E. kid of the week for Kindergarten for always showing Enjoyment at school. Great job Fiora!
