Aloha family and friends!
On Wednesday we celebrate Star Wars Day. It was such a fun and exciting day!
During our reading time we read different Star Wars books and practiced reading and labeling with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia!

During our math time we used pattern block shapes to recreate R2D2.
At the end of the day we celebrated with Star Wars cupcakes thanks to the Okuna family!
On Thursday we celebrated Boys' Day! Boys got to be first all day, and all the boys got to eat lunch together with Ms. Josie and I in the classroom. Everyone also made carp kites.
Our whole school end of year performance, Songfest, will be the last day of school. All the Kindergarteners will be dancing to the song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". Kids will need to come to school dressed in their pajamas. We suggest lightweight/cool pajamas, as we will be outside all morning and it usually gets hot! Kids can get extra practice for the dance at home using the video link below.
